  • What are semi-permanent eyelash extensions?
What are Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions? Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent, synthetic extensions that are glued one by one onto the natural lash by using a specially formulated adhesive. They are not to be confused with strip false lashes, clusters or individuals that are good for one occasion uses.
  • How are Eyelash Extensions applied?
The application of eyelash extensions is a non-invasive, pain free process. You lie on a massage table with your eyes closed during the 2 - 4 hour service for a full set. Most clients take what lash extension professionals call a "lash nap". First, your lower eyelashes are taped down using a surgical grade tape or gel pad. Then, each individual lash is applied ~1 mm from the base of each of your natural lashes using a bonding adhesive. Neither the lash nor the adhesive actually touch the skin. A primer is used to condition the lashes before application and a sealant is used to help curate the glue after application. The entire process for a full set takes on average 2 hours for a classic full set and 4 hours for a volume set. It all depends on what look you are trying to achieve and how dense your natural lash line is. A fill appointment is 75 - 90 minutes.
  • What material are your eyelash extensions?
We use faux-mink eyelash extensions from various high end lash brands.
  • How long do Eyelash Extensions last?
Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent. As your natural lashes grow out and shed (every 25-28 days), the synthetic lashes will fall out as well. Refills are needed every 2-3 weeks. Your lifestyle and type of work will affect your refill frequency.
